Dr. Nemitari Ajienka Appointed Senior Lecturer In Computer Science At Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom

27-year-old Dr. Nemitari Ajienka has been appointed as a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science at Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom.

This appointment makes him the youngest Senior Lecturer at Nottingham Trent University.

Dr. Nemtari Ajienka was promoted to a senior teaching member staff at the university after he got an appointment as a junior lecturer in 2017 at Edge Hill University.

Dr. Nemitari Ajienka had distinctions in his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Master of Science (M.Sc) and Doctorate degree (PhD) before he turned 25 years old.

In the words of Dr. Nemitari Ajienka:

“After 2 years+ at Edge Hill University (EHU), UK as a Lecturer, I’m happy to have officially joined Nottingham Trent University (NTU), UK as a Senior Lecturer at 27. Grateful to both EHU and for the opportunities and experience.”

Team Nigeria Emerge Overall Winners At Abuja 2020 Para-powerlifting World Cup Tournament

Team Nigeria have emerged overall winners at the Abuja 2020 Para-powerlifting World Cup tournament held between February 5 – 7, 2020.

Team Nigeria won a total of 13 gold, 8 silver and 7 bronze medals.

The Abuja 2020 Para-powerlifting World Cup Tournament also served as qualifiers for the Tokyo 2020 Summer Paralympic Games.

At the end of the competition, Egypt and Brazil emerged first and second runners-up with 3 gold, 6 silver & 3 bronze medals and 3 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals respectively.

Amina Wilfred Wins 2020 Nigeria Ladies Golf Open

Amina Wilfred has won the 22nd Ladies Open Golf Championship held at the IBB International Golf and Country club on the 16th of February 2020.

Amina Wilfred defeated Uganda’s Irene Nakalembe to win the three-day golf championship, which attracted over one hundred golfers from the African continent.
