USAIFA International Limited Wins Nigerian AEA National Start-up Pitch Competition [2020]

USAIFA International Limited, an agricultural start-up company has emerged the winner of the Nigerian National Start-up Pitch Competition held at the Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA) in Abuja.

By this feat, USAIFA International Limited will represent Nigeria at the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) and National Champions Pitch Competition in Dubai from March 24-25, [2020].

The company will compete with other start-ups and the eventual winner will be rewarded with $50,000, while gaining invaluable international exposure needed for rapid growth.

Oyindamola Aje Wins Second Edition Of InterswitchSPAK National Science Competition

Oyindamola Aje, a 16-year-old student of Jesuit Memorial College, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has emerged winner of the second edition of the InterswitchSPAK National Science Competition held in Lagos.

Oyindamola Aje defeated eight other finalists in an intense quiz session to win the grand prize of 7.5 million worth of tertiary education scholarship. This scholarship will spread over five years. He also received a laptop and a monthly stipend for the duration of the scholarship fund.

A lot of countries in the world demonstrate sensitivity, care and preservation of their national image or reputation expending vast resources in order to improve and maintain it at all levels. The perception of a country’s image influences its relevance and authority in the comity of nations. A positive image of a country attracts prestige, respect and investments. On the other hand, a country’s bad image would reduce its influence and deny it strategic benefits in the international political/economic system.

Nigeria has over the years made strategic efforts in order to create, portray and sustain a positive and appealing image – both nationally and internationally.

At this time, more work is still required to be done.

In order for Nigeria to improve its reputation on the positive side, certain political factors must be employed. The recognition and adherence to these factors can improve the reputation of the country. Emmanuel Gyang and his wife, Deborah Pam, have emerged the first Nigerians to complete the 42 kilometers race at the 2020 Access Bank Lagos City Marathon.

New course records were set by Kenyan duo, David Bamarsia and Sharon Cherop, who emerged as the overall winners in the male and female categories.
