Divine Oduduru Wins 200 Meters Race At UNF Invitational In Florida

Divine Oduduru has emerged winner of the men’s 200 meters race at the UNF Invitational in Florida, USA with a race time of 19.88 seconds (+1.6m/s).

With this achievement, he becomes the 2nd fastest man in the world this season.

He beat Cravont Charleston to the win as the latter came in 2nd in 20.16 seconds, while Jo’Vaughn Martin got 3rd in 20.22 seconds.

After running 19.88 seconds over 200 meters, Divine Oduduru returned a Season Best of 10.05 seconds (+1.5m/s) to finish 3rd in the men’s 100 meters at the UNF Invitational. He finished behind his training partners, Trayvon Bromell in 9.88 seconds, the fastest in the world and Andre de Grasse in an identical 10.05 seconds.

Anita Abada’s ‘Efun’ has emerged winner of the Special Prize Award For “Health Educational Film For Youth” at the 2021 WHO Health For All Film Festival.

WHO Director-General, Tedros Ghebreyesus, made the announcement in his speech posted on the UN health agency website.

Ghebreyesus said Abada became winner of the special prize for a health educational film for youth, titled: “Efun”.

The DG said “Efun”, directed by Abada, focused on the challenging topic of Female Genital Mutilation.

Ghebreyesus, said the winners would receive trophies and a grant of $10,000 to invest in further audiovisual production on health today.
