Stephanie Busari Selected Into Yale World Fellow Program Class Of 2020

Stephanie Busari has been selected alongside twelve (12) others into the Class of 2020 for the annual Yale’s World Fellow Program.

The 2020 cohort include: Stephanie Busari, Sally Abi Khalil, Ambroise Brenier, Hamish Falconer, Ying Lun “Allen” FUNG, Mohammad “Musa” Mahmodi, Evan Mawarire, Mauro Mondello, Edwan Ngum Tah, Hyppolite Ntigurirwa, Jorge Soto, Jovitta Thomas, and Ann Thomas.

This cohort brings the total number of World Fellows since the program’s start in 2002 to 359 Fellows, representing 91 countries. This year marks the 19th cohort of World Fellows.

Elizabeth Ayanacho And Iyeneobong Essien Named Among Malala Fund 2020 Game Changers Series

Elizabeth Ayanacho and Iyeneobong Essien have been named on the Malala Fund 2020 Game Changers Series.

Established by the Malala Fund co-founded by student and Nobel laureate, Malala Yousafzai, the Game Changers series focuses on incredible female athletes while raising awareness about missing indigenous women, advocating for girls to study science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and speaking out for other para-athletes.

The 2020 Games Changers list comprises 30 female athletes selected from 24 countries and are described as “female athletes defying convention on and off the field around the world.”

Toluwalase Oseni Wins 2020 World Scavenger Hunt Award

Toluwalase Oseni of Caleb British International School, Lekki, Lagos State, has been declared winner of the 2020 World Scavenger Hunt Award.

The event, an annual global entrepreneurial competition, which took place virtually on Zoom Platform as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic had 55 teams from the USA and other countries as participants with Master Toluwalase Oseni winning the Scavenger Hunt Award out of the eight awards available at the event.

Frank Onyeka Voted FC Midtylland Player Of The Year [2019/2020]

Frank Onyeka has been voted as the player of the year at his Danish club FC Midtylland, which emerged league champions of the Danish Superliga in the 2019/2020 season.

22-year-old Frank Onyeka scored four goals and made two assists in 35 appearances in all competitions for FC Midtylland in the just concluded season.
