Winners Of 2021 Nigerian Investors Value Awards (NIVA)

Winners have emerged at the Nigerian Investors Value Awards (NIVA), which was held at the Lagos Continental Hotel, Victoria Island in Lagos on 24th April 2021 jointly organized by BusinessDay Media Limited and the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX).

The theme of this year’s NIVA Awards was “Bullish on a Recovery”.

According to the Publisher, BuisnessDay Newspaper – Frank Aigbogun; the theme was intentionally chosen to celebrate Nigerian owned businesses that have been resilient and bullish to recover despite the challenges that came with the global pandemic.

Temi Adebayo has won the International Photography Award of the British Journal of Photography (BJP) Award 2020.

His photograph captioned; ‘Hu:Man’, was selected as part of the award-winning photographs of the year 2020, which will be exhibited at the Seen Fifteen Gallery in London, UK, from April 30 to May 22, 2021.

Chioma Onyekwere Sets New National Record In Discus Throw At Chula Vista High Performance Meet [2021]

Chioma Onyekwere has set a new National Record in Discus throw while competing at the Chula Vista High Performance Meet in California, USA.

Chioma Onyekwere achieved the feat on April 24, 2021 by getting a new Personal Best (PB) and Nigerian Record of 63.30 meters, improving on her previous PB of 61.38 meters set at the 2019 World Championships in Doha.
