Eunice Gordon Osagiede Awarded USA Congress Woman Of Excellence Award 2019

Apostle Eunice Gordon Osagiede along with 19 others have been awarded the United States of America Congress Women of Excellence award for the year 2019.

Apostle Eunice Gordon Osagiede, a social crusader for women and youth empowerment was amongst 150 people that were screened across the globe.

It is to be noted that she is the only African woman to be featured in the 2019 awards. USA Congressman Danny K. Davis commented that the 7th congressional district’s Multi Ethic Advisory Task Force (MEATF) celebrated the 7th Annual International Women’s day by honoring “Twenty Global Women” who are excelling in their field of study.

Apostle Eunice Osagiede was recognised for the congressional award as a result of her initiative in women empowerment aimed at alleviating poverty for widows, the orphans and the less privilege. Her initiative includes; TABITHA integrated services, and WINN.

Her initiative is noted for free skill acquisition and trainings, personal development programs, health care services and many more. WINN activities are majorly geared towards celebrating and promoting the image of Nigeria, with the driving vision of “change starts with us, the change starts now”.

Over the years, her organization had partnered with government organizations and individuals to bring about so much impact on the lives of rural women.

Apostle Eunice Osagiede has also received numerous awards in recognition of her service to humanity.

According to Danny K. Davis:

“The International Woman’s day, March 8, is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The 2019 theme is: ‘Think Equal, Build Smart & Innovate Change’.”

The AMEC Awards Jury 2019 named Apostle Eunice Osagiede among the 20 influential and inspirational women who are trailblazing women using passion, indignation and anger to spark real change in the world around them.

The achievement of the ambitious Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Danny K. Davis said requires transformative shifts, integrated approaches and new solutions, particularly when it comes to advancing gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls.
