The American magazine announced this on March 6 [2020], at a Gala Dinner and Awards ceremony, which took place in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

The Forbes Woman Africa Entrepreneur Award recognises remarkable women across the African continent making a significant impact on their immediate communities.

Chidozie Ojobor Emerges First Canadian University Student To Win MPOWER Financing Global Citizen Scholarship

Chidozie Ojobor has emerged the first Canadian University student to win the MPOWER Financing Global Citizen Scholarship valued at $5,000.

He was picked by MPOWER staff out of 1,121 eligible applications – which they cite as a record number of applicants.

The $5,000 scholarships were awarded on the strength of applicants’ essay submissions. Ojobor’s submission identified the need to address the threat of superbugs.

Force Headquarters (FHQ) Abuja won a total of 274 medals comprising of 118 gold, 80 silver and 74 bronze to top the overall medals table to relegate defending champions Zone 2 to 2nd place with 230 medals.

Dr. Nemitari Ajienka Appointed Senior Lecturer In Computer Science At Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom

27-year-old Dr. Nemitari Ajienka has been appointed as a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science at Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom.

This appointment makes him the youngest Senior Lecturer at Nottingham Trent University.

Dr. Nemtari Ajienka was promoted to a senior teaching member staff at the university after he got an appointment as a junior lecturer in 2017 at Edge Hill University.

Dr. Nemitari Ajienka had distinctions in his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Master of Science (M.Sc) and Doctorate degree (PhD) before he turned 25 years old.
