PositiveNaija is pleased to announce the PositiveNaija Prize for academic excellence in Nigerian universities for best graduating students commencing from the 2024/2025 academic session.
The aim of the Prize is to promote the culture of impactful scholarship and an honorable reward system in the Nigerian educational sector.
Winners have emerged at the 28th Diamond Award for Media Excellence (DAME) which held on 29 December 2019, at Sheraton hotel, Lagos.
According to Lanre Idowu, the Supervising Trustee of DAME while giving an opening remark at the awards:
“The media is an important institution in nation building. DAME awards honour journalists who have distinguished themselves in different areas of the career to represent the best interest of the country.”
The 28th Diamond Award For Media Excellence (DAME) finalists and winners were selected by a team of 15 judges.

The Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria (FRIN) Ibadan has emerged the overall champions of the 16th RIGAN Games with 20 Gold, 21 Silver and 22 Bronze medals.
The 16th RIGAN Games held at Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute in Sango-Ota, Ogun State had 20 Institutes who battled for honours during the 10-day competition.
